The San Francisco Bay area native, Melissa Joy Manning, creates jewelry collections that are eclectic and modern. Manning relies on our natural environment for inspirations and she strives to create unusual and limited edition pieces that she hopes will transcend stylistic trends. All of Manning’s jewelry is handmade by trained metal smiths in her Oakland, CA studio. Melissa Joy Manning designed these Triple Drop Earrings to be sophisticated and casual. It’s designed with hand-faceted briolettes from the rutilated quartz gemstone. The rutile needles that pass through each clear briolette are in olive, crimson and gold. The drops hang from elegantly curved sterling sliver ear wire and are 1 ½” in total length. I adore these earrings for their sophisticated look and unique briolette design.
