Anthony Camargo and Nak Armstrong launched Anthony Nak in 1999. They met coincidentally in the early 90’s while both living in NYC. Armstrong traveled to NY from Texas to pursue a career in fashion, and Camargo came to New York via Miami to continue his career designing furniture. Shortly after meeting, they realized that they both shared the same passion for jewelry design and fashion. Since 2003, the designers continue to earn prestigious honors such as the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) award. The Labradorite stone was discovered in 1770 on the Labrador Peninsula in Canada. Besides Canada, this stone is also found in Norway. The gem is known to be a power stone allowing clear visualization when meditating.  Sapphire is derived from the Greek word sappheiros meaning blue.
