For Pam Branch, designing jewelry began as a hobby with a group of her colleagues for fun and relaxation.  Branch became hooked after her first beading session! She then decided to take a giant leap and leave her career as an attorney to pursue her passion for jewelry. Most of her collections are named after her family and friends. She does this to show appreciation for the love and support that they give to her. Branch uses materials such as semi-precious stones, glass and wooden beads in her handcrafted designs.

In her recent collection, named Pam’s Pods, I found the Beaded Five Pod Necklace. This piece is bold, elegant and stylish; it is constructed of wire that’s been sculpted and twisted into pods. The necklace has four beads: yellow jade, new jade, carnelian, and red aventurine. The pods are approximately 3/4″ long and hang from a 14kt gold-filled chain.
