Calico Juno Gypsy Earrings

In a recent issue of Star Magazine, Eva Longoria Parker was photographed wearing a classic relaxed ensemble. Parker sported a crisp white collar button-down top, slim fitting bottom flare light colored jeans, a thick chocolate brown belt, and Gypsy Earrings by Calico Juno. This look is perfect for a casual Friday or weekend event!

Bonnie Riconda always had a love of creating things by hand and with no experience in creating jewelry, she decided to experiment with stones and wire.  After numerous tries, she came up with thirty original designs that she began selling on her company’s web site Calico Juno. Just a few years later, she now features over 70 designs that are all handmade in her NY studio.  Her collections have been featured in publications such as InStyle, Lucky, Marie Claire, Shop, Glamour, Modern Bride, Jezebel, Cosmo Girl, Redbook, Good Housekeeping, and many more.

Calico Juno’s Gypsy Earrings are gorgeous and full of pizzazz.  These chandelier earrings are adorned with three faceted carnelian beads linked to three stunning turquoise briolettes. The 14kt gold filled hammer curled wire has an elaborate design that makes these earrings stand out.  The earrings are 2 ¼ inches long, and can also be purchased in sterling silver. Buy the Calico Juno Gypsy Earrings through Max and Chloe for $76.

Shelly Saber for GS Lillian Simple Floral Cuff

It’s been said that turquoise and coral are the must-have hues for this spring/summer. I happen to be fond of this type of jewelry, and wanted to find a bold piece that would accentuate this style. In a recent issue of Marie Claire, I saw the ornamental Simple Floral Cuff by Shelly Saber for GS Lillian.

This turquoise and coral cuff caught my attention with its vibrant look and bold white & silver accents. With a piece like this, there is no need to add other jewelry to your ensemble. The cuff contains a ceramic 3” flower in these colors outlined with red and turquoise seed beads. The flower is beautifully displayed on a shiny brass cuff.

The designer of this cuff, Shelly Saber, began creating jewelry for herself when she could not find the perfect accessory to complement her style. With lots of luck and hard work, Saber was able to turn her love of jewelry into a full-time career with the success of her company GS Lillian. Saber’s handcrafted designs present a distinctive look of their own using brass, porcelain, glass, natural stones, and pearls.

Buy the Simple Floral Cuff through Charm & Chain for $85.
