As a teenager, Emily Elizabeth Kolins was drawn to art and began creating jewelry pieces. Upon graduating from Hunter College in NYC, she went to work for a fine jewelry designer. Famed jeweler, Stephen Dweck, attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC where he started hand carving stone bangles; leading to his jewelry career.
