W/A Studios Gold Treasure Earrings – Deal of the Week!!!

DEAL OF THE WEEK!!!

Filigree jewelry first became popular in the Art Deco period of the 1920’s and 30’s. Designing filigree involves a delicate intricacy where each piece is cut-out and finished by hand. The antique look of filigree has continued to make it widely popular even into the 21st century. The W/A Studios Gold Treasure Earrings sport an exquisitely eye-catching filigree design, which features a large circular cut-out in the center surrounded by flower and scroll patterns. These 18kt gold plated dangles measure 2 ¼ inches and hang on a shepherd’s hook. Buy the W/A Studios Gold Treasure Earrings through Max and Chloe for $35.

Wendy Culpepper Hibiscus Chain Necklace

New York designer Wendy Culpepper creates simple, brilliant and interchangeable jewelry. Since her launch in 2005, each of her collections has been growing in popularity. In particular, numerous stars took a liking to her designs such as Rachel Ray, Jennifer Beals, Juliet Huddy, and Patricia Wetting along with many others. Her jewelry has been featured in publications such as Marie Claire, InStyle, Daily Candy, and New York Magazine to name a few.

Culpepper’s Fiore Collection is based on her travels to Florence, Italy, which is where she was introduced to jewelry design. The collection contains clean, yet bold designs similar to the Florence version of the fleur-de-lis symbol. This inspired her to create the Fiore collection, which means flower in Italian.  The elegant Hibiscus Chain Necklace is part of this collection. Culpepper uses 14kt gold vermeil to develop this flower necklace.  The pendant measures 1 ½” wide and 1 ¼” long. It dangles from an 18″ chain with a toggle closure. I adore this necklace for its femininity and delicateness. Culpepper’s entire line truly encompasses what classic jewelry is about; timeless and unforgettable. Buy through Zappos for $161 $114.05
