Raw Oval Ruby Cocktail Ring

At a young age, jewelry designer Jessica Ricci had always been fascinated with using stones and crystals for healing. During a time when she lived in Italy, she stumbled upon a New Age store that carried such stones that are meant to be placed in your pocket or purse, and is said to enhance the flow of energy. These stones with their rough cut imperfections were so unique that she thought they were ideal to place on rings instead of being hidden away. Shortly thereafter, Ricci launched her jewelry line named Raw, which contains these healing stones.  These cocktail rings have the supposed healing qualities attributed to them, yet they are stylish and beautiful!

Reliquiae Beaded Shell Ring

Artist and jewelry designer Lisa Wells, owner of Reliquiae, creates unique handmade jewelry using remains from the sea, as well as animal and plant life specimens. Wells adorns shells with resins, metals, semi-precious stones, and crystals. Each fossil takes weeks to create because it’s carefully reinforced and polished with a blend of resins for strength and shine. The outcome is an enthralling cocktail ring that becomes a treasured souvenir from the sea.

The elegant, yet bold Beaded Shell Ring was recently feature in Lucky Magazine’s Editor’s Picks section. The miniature nautilus shell is adorned with golden glass beads that have the look of shimmering sand.  The cocktail ring measures 1.75 inches by 1.5 inches. This ring is perfect for a relaxing day out wearing a tee and capri’s, or a summer dress!  I adore the Beaded Shell Ring for its captivating appeal and unique design. Buy this cocktail ring through Reliquiae for $110.

InStyle Magazine Cocktail Rings

InStyle Magazine recently listed a few fabulous cocktail rings in their Shop It section, which were dubbed the “start-a-conversation” pieces. I particularly took a liking to the Otylia Ring by Kendra Scott and the Sumba Saddle Ring by Anna Beck.  Rings are meant to add flare and these two do the trick!

The Anna Beck Sumba Gold Plated Saddle Ring is sassy with an infusion of pizzazz.  This fashionable piece is handcrafted from gold plated silver that takes the shape of a horse’s saddle.  It’s peppered with intricate circular gold vermeil disks in various sizes, and is 3/4” in total length.  Buy through South Moon Under for $245.

The Otylia Ring in Python, by Kendra Scott, is chunky and bold.  The jumbo pyrite and quartz stones that adorn this ring are flashy with a touch of sophistication. It’s made in gold tone to perfectly balance this ring. Buy directly through Kendra Scott Jewelry for $75.

Which one of these two cocktail rings do you like best?
