Cynthia H Designs is a line of leather handbags, belts, and cuffs that was launched two years ago by Los Angeles born designer Cynthia Holvey. From an early age, Holvey had an interest in fashion and, as a teenager she landed her first job at a high-end Long Beach boutique. She later went on to work as an accessories buyer and celebrity stylist for ABS Clothing Company. Holvey’s line of powerful bracelets is inspired by phrases she learned during a spiritual awakening that she had experienced. Now, the Cynthia H collections can be purchased in boutiques and online shops throughout the US and Canada.
Two decades ago, Detroit natives Karen Erickson, Eric Erickson and Vicki Beamon launched Erickson Beamon Jewelry. While the trio was working with a clothing designer to manage a premier runway show, they realized they needed jewelry to accompany the garments and quickly strung crystals and beads to suede. Little did they know that their accessories would quickly turn into a successful jewelry line. NYC born iconic designer Ralph Lauren began his career by selling ties to his high school classmates.
