Two decades ago, Detroit natives Karen Erickson, Eric Erickson and Vicki Beamon launched Erickson Beamon Jewelry. While the trio was working with a clothing designer to manage a premier runway show, they realized they needed jewelry to accompany the garments and quickly strung crystals and beads to suede.
