New York-based designer Kara Ross is known for her fine jewelry and handbag collections. Ross launched her jewelry business after graduating from Georgetown and then attended the Gemological Institute of America to become an expert on stones. With this solid foundation in gemstones, she launched her jewelry business about 13 years ago and shortly thereafter had her first collection featured at five different Nieman Marcus stores. After painting and crafting for 20 years, designer Judy Geib took an unexpected turn into the world of jewelry design.
