While attending San Francisco State University, she began selling her pieces at local galleries and museums. After becoming an owner of a Fred Segal store in Santa Monica, she decided to launch a line under her own namesake. Christine Martin Designs have been featured in publications such as Elle, Lucky, InStyle, Ocean Drive, ID, Jane, W, and Marie Claire.
