Delaware native R. Craig Whitten has been designing custom jewelry since 1977. He opened his first jewelry design studio in 1985, and later included a retail operation. Whitten recently launched whimsy™; a trio of uniquely customizable rings. The line is created by using reclaimed sterling silver, 14kt gold, and gemstones. In whimsy, Whitten decided to utilize dormant metals and gems as a way to counter the toxic effects of mining.
