5 years ago, jewelry designer Joan Goodman began a NYC based earth-oriented accessory company named PONO. In the Hawaiian language, ‘pono’ means righteousness and goodness. These two meanings represent their beliefs and what they stand for. Pono uses only quality materials in their jewelry designs such as natural woods, engraved shell and cow horn. Their designs have been featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine, In Style and Harper’s Bazaar among others.
